Zero Landfill Catering
What is ‘Zero Landfill’ Catering anyhow? Well, as the name suggests, our Zero Landfill catering options do not generate any waste that goes to the landfill. Everything we use is either composted, recycled or reused. We bring a compost bin (complete with a biodegradable liner) to the event, that all waste from the event is placed in. When the event is completed, we pick up the compost and dispose of it appropriately to ensure it gets composted.
Keep in mind…
- All of our coffee is fairly traded and organic, and all baked goods are made fresh daily in our in-house bakery.
- Size matters! The bigger your event, the bigger your savings – we can offer discounts to larger orders.
- Everything you need is included in the order price – cups, stirrers, sugars, plates, forks, tablecloths, delivery, setup, pickup – you just need to show up and enjoy it!
- We’re happy to be creative! If you don’t see what you’re looking for, please ask – if we don’t have it on the menu, it doesn’t mean we don’t make it or can’t get it.
- Any products sold at either shop (chocolates, take-home mugs, organic juices, etc.) can be added to your catering order.
- ‘Oops! Protection’ means that your order will be fulfilled as requested, on time, without a hitch – if anything is wrong or we’re even five minutes late, you will immediately receive 10% off your order.
You can also sest up recurring coffee serve – daily, weekly, monthly, or for a pre-set schedule of events. Koffee Katering is happy to provide an assortment of coffees and teas for your office, fresh every morning, or a full coffee and breakfast setup for your weekly staff meeting. Sustainable Practices
In addition to our Zero Landfill catering, we maintain additional sustainable practices:
- We use only compostable cups and plates. For cold cups, we use cornstarch-based products.
- Our napkins are made of unbleached recycled materials.
- We reuse trays and tray lids rather than disposing of them after one use.
- Our teas and coffees are organic and fairly traded.
- Unless otherwise requested, we serve beverages in bulk rather than in disposable single-serving containers.
- We use only non-disposable serving utensils.
- Our milk is hormone-free and produced by cows that play practical jokes on each other.
