The food options include freshly baked treats (made in our own bakery), fresh Bagels, soups, salads, sandwiches, and savory pastries. The atmosphere is quirky, bohemian, and comfortable.

What's a "Koffee Kode"?
Each week we will be posting either a "Koffee Kode" or a riddle for you to solve. If you come down to the shop and give your Barista the "Kode" or the correct answer to the riddle, you will receive a special discount!
So here is the answer to round #18...
You are the king of a small dominion.
You are receiving a shipment of 1000 bottles of the world's finest wine.
Your informants have told you that one bottle that you receive will have been poisoned (potently).
You have 10 servants that are willing to die for you.
How do you isolate the poisoned bottle to avoid drinking it?
ANSWER:
Of the 1000 bottles, one is poisoned.
So select 500 of the bottles. Mix a portion of them all in one glass. Serve this to the first servant. If he dies, you know that the poisoned bottle is one of the 500 you mixed, if he lives, it is in the remaining 500 bottles. Then of the new 500 candidate bottles, you select 250, mix them, and proceed in the same fashion until only 1 bottle remains.
